Även 16 mm vinner stort på UHD. Förutom HDR/Dolby vision så ger UHD väsentligt bättre hantering av filmgrain. För oss med stor bild (130 tum) så är det en stor skillnad. 
Sen så ska man inte ta screenshots som är omvandlade, som 100% sanningen. Det är lättare att jämföra DVD och BD med varandra än UHD.

Någon som har They live och Escape from New York (studiocanal release) och kan berätta hur utgåvorna är?

Bra bild, men själva encodingen är inte speciellt bra. Speciellt i de ljusa scenerna i They Live, så syns ibland artefakter i filmgrainen runt skådisarna, när dom är mot en ljus bakgrund. Studio Canal gör bra transfers, men dom har för ostadig bitrate. Dom har fått kritik för detta, och deras kommande Flash Gordon släpp, är det en från teamet hos Arrow Video, som har hand om istället. Så där lär det bli ordning på komprimeringen iaf.

Blue Underground confirmed today that their first 4K Blu-ray release in 2021 will be Gary Sherman's thriller Dead & Buried (1981), starring James Farentino, Melody Anderson, Jack Albertson, Dennis Redfield, and Nancy Locke.

 

The folks at Blue Underground are currently finalizing a brand new 4K restoration of the film to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

 

Synopsis: Something very strange is happening in the quiet coastal village of Potters Bluff where tourists and transients are warmly welcomed, then brutally murdered. But even more shocking is when these slain strangers suddenly reappear as normal, friendly citizens around town. Now the local sheriff (James Farentino of The Final Countdown) and an eccentric mortician (Oscar® winner Jack Albertson in his final feature film performance), must uncover the horrific secret of a community where some terrifying traditions are alive and well... and no one is ever really Dead & Buried.

Jag har 4k,utan hdr, och den versionen är faktiskt rätt bra, trots avsaknaden av hdr.

Har precis klickat hem Prince of Darkness och Halloween 4K från Zoom. Blir intressant och se hur Brexit påverkar köpet. Moms blir det ju men hoppas man slipper längre leveranstid.
