Jag tycker också att det är just precisionen och snabbheten som verkar intressant. Det är den största anledningen till att wii står och samlar damm, ingen precision och mest en massa skitspel. Men Nu när ps3 kommer och gör en kontroll med precision så känns motion betydligt mer intressant

med öknamnet "wand", en sorts motion controller som fungerar med Playstation-eye -kameran

Bowling är grymt kul och de har haft flera kampanjer i PS Store, vet inte vad priset ligger på nu dock.

Det va min då 3årige son som kom på att man faktiskt kan lyft kontrollen snabbt och på så vis hoppa över hinder i spelet.

Motion Controller till PS3:an släpps hösten 2010.

Late Tuesday evening, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that it will release its new Motion Controller (tenative name) for the PlayStation 3 in the Fall of 2010 in Japan, Asian regions and countries, North America and Europe/PAL territories together with an extensive line-up of exciting software titles. The new controller, combined with the PlayStation Eye camera, can detect the natural and intuitive movement of the hand and reflect the precise movement within the game, delivering a whole new entertainment experience on PS3.

"We have decided to release the Motion Controller in fall 2010 when we will be able to offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users, " said Kazuo Hirai, President and Group CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. "We will continue to work to have a comprehensive portfolio of attractive and innovative games for the Motion Controller, not only from [Sony] Worldwide Studios but also from the third party developers and publishers, whom we have been working closely with. We look forward to soon unveiling the exciting software line-up that further expands and defines the PS3 platform as the ultimate entertainment system for the home."

Sony looks to vigorously promote the Motion Controller as the de facto controller of the PS3 platform along with the Dualshock series controller and will deploy various measures to enhance the software title line-up for the Motion Controller.

This announcement comes only two weeks after Microsoft announced the holiday release of its Project Natal for the Xbox 360 as well as third-party peripheral maker Komodo's debut of its own motion controller for the PS3.

Sony Motion Controller Gets 10 Titles This Year
Sports and pet raising games on the way for Fall device.

Nikkei has a short report on Sony's upcoming motion controller device. The one piece of new information in the report is that Sony will release "around 10 or so" titles for the device within the year. Included among the titles will be sports and pet raising games.

Sony announced last week that its motion device will be released in the Fall rather than the originally announced Spring time frame. The company did not share a list of software, but promised a robust lineup.

Sony is ready to present their motion controller to the world at next month’s Game Developer Conference (GDC) at their “Introducing the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller” session.

It’s likely that we’ll get an official name and perhaps a release date, as well as publishers and developers who have confirmed compatibility in their future titles. We’ll know more on March 11th when the big news finally hits.

PS3's motion controller kommer med "Nunchuck", den kommer dessutom vara kopplad till "Arcen" trådlöst.

A rock solid CVG source at GDC in San Francisco has told us that not only does PS3's motion controller have a nunchuck add-on - but that it connects wirelessly to the main device.

Our source corroborated a previous post on NeoGAF, which revealed that the nunchuck features an analogue stick, with X and O button beneath it, and a d-pad below. On the underside of the unit are L1 and L2 triggers.

However, the wireless connection info is new - and another differentiation between Sony's device and Nintendo's similar Wii Remote controller.

Frustratingly, no brand name appears on the peripheral - so we can't yet confirm or rubbish claims that the peripheral will be called 'Arc'.

CVG's source had seen and handled the device - but hadn't yet used it in action.

We're expecting full details tonight from Sony's announcement at GDC (midnight GMT).

Just saw pictures of Wand/Nunchuk so:

Nunchuck has an analog stick at the front, below that X and O and below that a D pad. Underneath is L1 and L2. Its actually long, not like the Wii Nunchuk.

As for the Wand it has one very big button on top and then all four facebuttons (X,O,Square and Triangle) and underneath is a big trigger called T.

I'm guess the doubling up of X and O across the two is to keep full compatibility with single Wand set-ups.

Anyway, I'm sure we'll see in the week.
