Australia's online home video retailer EzyDVD has provided some early details of what to expect on the Transformers (2007) 2-Disc DVD. The HD DVD version will also be released in Australia the same day as the 2-Disc DVD, on November 1.
Bonus materials found on the 2-disc DVD is expected to be available on the HD DVD version. They include, but may not be limited to,
Deleted Scenes
Audio Commentary by Director Michael Bay
4 Featurettes
2 In-Depth Making of Documentaries
Interactive Content
Easter Eggs
The retailer has also provided an interesting look at the various packaging available for the 2-disc DVD sets (here and here). Here's hoping that Paramount's HD DVD release will have special packaging too, like the one being able to transform into a 15" tall Optimus Prime! (as shown in the latter URL).
As these are early details provided by a retailer, we recommend that all readers take it with a pinch of salt.
