Halo: ODST finns för 99:- på Elgiganten vid Hötorget, Stockholm (Steelth skrev det i tipstråden). Var där för någon dag sedan och de har fortfarande ett gäng spel kvar.

The upcoming Halo Reach multiplayer beta will include a "huge chunk" of weapons, armour abilities and maps, Bungie's revealed.

Speaking during an interview with Game Informer, the developer revealed that at least five new guns will be included in the trial, alongside old favourites.

"One new weapon we've yet to really talk about is the focus rifle," said community man, Brian Jarrard. "This is the Covenant really long-range 'reach out and burn your face off' sniper-slot weapon.... you need to hold it on your opponent for approximately one and a half seconds to kill them. It's more about long range suppression than instant death."

The maps are Sword Base, Powerhouse, Overlook, and Boneyard.

Along with returning modes like Slayer, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag and Territories, the beta--available to Halo 3: ODST owners on May 3--will offer four new modes:

Headhunter
"A new 'party' game ," says Bungie, "where the goal is to collect and capture the most skulls."

Stockpile
"Another 'party' gametype that is sort of like Territories meets with Capture the Flag."

Generator Defense
"Three Spartans against three Elites. The Elites are trying to destroy three generators before time runs out while the Spartans are trying to defend."

"It's a vehicle-full frenzy!"

Hmm ja jag har verkligen ingen större koll på Halo-storyn... Orkar inte sätta mig in i allt bara När jag spelar spelen så är det ganska mycket "var spel för sig" i mina tankar.. Visst att man ser progress från CE -> 2 -> 3.. men sen ODST och Reach har jag inte så stor koll på var i storyn de ska va eller vad det påverkar osv osv osv....

Såg precis färdigt den, finns ett stycke som heter "the story so far". Väldigt bra och pedagogisk för att lära sig storyn. De snackar ung. 20 minuter om vad som hänt och nu vet jag massor som jag inte hade någon aning om tidigare, bland annat mer om Reach. Jättebra.

Spelar bara SP så MP skiter jag i, förutom co-op. Tycker Halo 1 och 2 var på sin höjd mediokra. Har aldrig brytt mig om att skaffa Halo 3.

The Playlist Schedule Revealed

It's Bungie day today, isn't it? Hot on the heels of its Activision deal comes news on its current blockbuster, Halo: Reach. We all know that the Beta is hitting Xbox Live on the 3rd May. But the developer will be spending some time changing multiplayer modes around so that testers can play all sorts of scenarios while hammering the servers at the same time.

When the Beta launches on 3rd May, there will be three playlists; Arena (the 4v4 ranked Team Slayer matches), Free-For-All and Grab-Bag. These reportedly contain a fusion of old and new elements, so don't sound so disappointed yet.

Then on the 7th May, the Spartan vs Elite playlist, called Invasion, will be added. Finally, the 14th May brings the Generator Defense mode to the online world. The Beta will close on the 19th May following the last update. Hey, good things have to end sometime.

You'll also bag a Halo: Reach Avatar hoodie for playing a full game in the Beta as well. Isn't that nice? Roll on 3rd May.
