Har du testat olivolja? Det funkade för mej när jag testade det, jag hade smetat ut klistret med allt möjligt rengöringsmedel men inget funkade, testade olivolja sist och allt bara försvann direkt utan minsta lilla spår efter sej.

Det är tragiskt att dom inte fattar vad dessa "security stickers" ställer till skada på BD fodralen. Om alla klagar så borde det komma fram ett meddelande att dom slutar att placera dom på front öppningen. Uppe eller nertill är väl ok, men att sätta på alla 3 ställen speciellt framöppningen förstör ju hela fodralet när man ska ta den dom.

Senast jag beställde från Hdmoviesource fick jag filmer med fullt av security stickers som pajade halva fodralen, så jag funderar på att beställa nya ifrån dom. Jag har redan beställt 3st Hama BD från datorbutiken men det var inte samma som dom hade på sin bild, kvaliten på dom var hemsk samt inte samma utseende som WB eller Sony/Disneys fodral.

Är replacement fodralen på hdmoviesource samma som Sony och disney skickar med sina BDs? eller kör dom också nån annorlunda budgetvariant?

Warner Clarifies Specs For 'Blade Runner' HD DVD, Blu-ray


Responding to persistent questions from early adopters on both sides of the aisle, Warner has provided further details on the exact configuration of its upcoming high-def 'Blade Runner' releases.

As officially announced late last month, Warner Home Entertainment will at last be debuting the definitive 'Blade Runner' in two editions apiece on Blu-ray and HD DVD. Set to street on December 18 are 'Blade Runner: The Complete Collector's Edition' and the even more elaborately-packaged 'Blade Runner: The Ultimate Collector's Edition,' each a five-disc set boasting several different versions of the film and hours of newly-produced bonus content.

Since that announcement, speculation has run rampant over just how much of the material on these mammoth sets would be presented in full high-definition. (Warner famously released the HD DVD edition of 'The Ultimate Matrix Collection' last May with the final two discs presented in standard-def, a fact that wasn't revealed until just days before that disc's release.)

This time around, the studio apparently going the full disclosure route, revealing to Bill Hunt at The Digital Bits that while all five versions of the film included on the next-gen releases are being mastered in actual 1080p video, all of supplementary materials (including the new documentary "Dangerous Days," and the deleted scenes) will be presented in 480p standard definition only.

According to Hunt, Warner says the reason for this has nothing to do with disc space on either format, but rather the compressed time schedule in which the various extras are being produced.

Warner has set a $39.95 list price for the five-disc 'Complete Collector's Edition' of 'Blade Runner,' while the deluxe 'Ultimate Collector's Edition' (featuring the same disc configurations but with special "Deckard Briefcase" packaging and other collectibles) will list for $99.95.

Francis Ford Coppola Goes All In for Debut Blu-ray Release 'Bram Stoker's Dracula

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed final specs for the October Blu-ray release of 'Bram Stoker's Dracula,' which is headlined by the extensive participation of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola.

Coppola has long been one of the most forward-thinking of Hollywood's elite auteurs, having created an in-house high-definition division at his American Zoetrope production company several years ago to oversee the mastering and supplement production for all of his films on disc.

Though Coppola and Zoetrope have already remastered most of the director's films in HD for release on standard-def DVD (including such classics as 'The Godfather' trilogy, 'Apocalypse Now' and 'The Outsiders'), 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' will be his first to hit next-gen disc -- as originally announced late last month, Sony plans to debut a brand-new special edition of 'Dracula' day-and-date on Blu-ray and DVD October 2.

Now comes word of the various special features to be included in this new edition, and -- unsurprisingly -- they include the participation of Coppola himself, with the director having recorded new introduction and audio commentary expressly for this release. Also included on the disc will be deleted scenes, four featurettes ("The Blood is the Life," "The Costumes are the Sets," "In Camera: The Visual Effects of Dracula" and "Method and Madness: Visualizing Dracula"), plus a special Theatrical Trailer for the upcoming Coppola film 'Youth Without Youth.'

Tech specs will include a newly-remastered 1080p transfer at the film's original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, as well as uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround audio.

Sony has set a $28.95 list price for the Blu-ray.

Disney Blu-ray Four-Packs Surface at Costco

Although much has been made of Warner's upcoming "Best of HD DVD" and "Best of Blu-ray" disc bundles (which had been billed as the first of their kind), it seems that Disney has quietly beat Warner to the punch.
First spotted by Tyler Pruitt of the blog Format War Central, Costco began carrying three Disney-branded Blu-ray disc bundles this week.


Each of the bundles include a total of four previously-release Disney Blu-ray flicks, as follows:
The "Action Movies" four-pack includes 'Pearl Harbor,' 'Gone in 60 Seconds,' 'The Guardian' and 'Deja Vu'; the "Family Movies" four-pack includes 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,' 'Invincible' and 'Eight Below'; and finally, the "Disney Movies" four-pack includes 'The Wild,' 'Chicken Little,' 'Dinosaur' and 'Bridge to Terabithia.'
Each of the bundles appear to include the previously-released Blu-ray editions of the films, with the same specs, supplements and cover art.

Costco is selling each of the three bundles for $84.99 a piece -- that's a savings of over $50 if each were bought separately at their retail price.
At press time, it wasn't immediately clear whether these disc bundles are exclusive to Costco, or if they'll be offered via other retailers. We've contacted Disney for further information, and will update this article with any further details as they emerge. Stay tuned!

While no exact date has been set, it has been expected for many weeks that it would arrive on the same day as two other Pixar Blu-ray releases - 'Cars' and 'Pixar Short Film Collection'. 'Ratatouille' will be presented in 2.39:1 1080p with 24-bit 5.1 PCM.

Extras on 'Ratatouille' include an exclusive short (presumably, not on the 'Short Film Collection') 'Your Friend the Rat', deleted scenes, and a documentary with Brad Bird. Exclusive to the Blu-ray release are Gusteau's Gourmet Game and Cine-Explore (behind the scenes feature).

Disney Previews 'Cars' Blu-ray Interactive Features

Disney has posted a new trailer for its upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Cars,' providing a first glimpse at the disc's much-hyped interactive features.

As previously reported, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment plans to debut the animated blockbuster on November 6, when it will be one of a trio of the first Pixar releases to hit Blu-ray (alongside 'Ratatouille' and 'The Pixar Short Film Collection' ).

Hyped as the "High-Definition Event of the Year" in the lengthy trailer (watch it in full here), 'Cars' seems poised to push the limits of what we've seen so far on the Blu-ray format in terms of interactivity.

Highlighted specifically in the clip are first looks at two features exclusive to the 'Cars' Blu-ray release. Stretching the format's BD-Java capabilities is the "Car Finder" game, allowing viewers to search for over 200 models of cars hidden throughout the movie, and even "race the clock" to find a specific car in a frozen frame of film.

Also touted is the "Cine-Explore" mode, where John Lasseter "personally guides you through the making of the movie while you watch the movie." Judging from the footage that appears in the trailer, the "Cine-Explore" function looks similar to the "In-Movie Experience" picture-in-picture video commentaries common to the HD DVD format, making 'Cars' among the first announced titles to replicate this much sought-after feature on Blu-ray.

Additional announced features on 'Cars' include deleted scenes, the short film "Mater and the Ghostlight" and all of the other features included on the standard-def DVD version of the film, released late last year.

..., a four-and-a-half star video rating for a ten year-old catalogue title is pretty darn impressive, and should rate as great high-def in anyone's book. Sony is definitely to be commended -- not only for returning to the scene of their past crimes and righting old wrongs, but also for providing this remaster absolutely free to those who purchased the old version.

Du kommer inte bli besviken, géten.
Jag har den remastrade och bilden känns knivskarp med endast ett tunt tunt lager grain i vissa scener som inte ens stör.

Digital Video Essentials HD Comes to Blu-ray

DVD International has announced that Joe Kane's 'Digital Video Essentials: HD Basics' will be coming to Blu-ray on October 30th. 'DVE: HD' is the follow-up to the award-winning 'Digital Video Essentials' disc which assisted new DVD owners in calibration of their displays. Now, Joe Kane returns to assist new Blu-ray owners with calibration of their high definition displays.

This release is different than the 'Digital Video Essentials' disc which was released on HD DVD earlier this year, and will feature new interactive menus. While the experience appears slimmed down from previous versions, this disc actually features more content than ever before.

Joe Kane, President of Joe Kane Productions and creator of HD Basics, notes, “My goal with DVE: HD Basics is to help make display device setup easier plus describe what I think consumers should expect from high definition. It's really a great system and not everyone is seeing it for what it's worth. This new disc allows users to choose the depth at which they want to learn about High Definition – or simply begin with calibrating their set."
