Hej

I am soon going to be the lucky owner of a projektor. I was wondering if some people have some interesting tips on calcibrating a projektor. I have read the thread on the calibrator DVD but it did not look that promising to buy that disc. What discs do you use to calibrate your projector?

Hello, i´we read about some people saying that the Avia disc is the only real calibrating disc. I don´t have any experiences with this but they say it´s the best. Try searching because i know it has been brought up before.

I use AVIA but it is IMHO quite useless if you are going to calibrate a LCD projector for PAL material. I ended up using my eyes and my regular TV set as a reference...

ridler har väl alltid postat på engelska, men av tidigare inlägg att döma så klarar han/hon nog av att läsa svenska.

Svenska är ett svårt språk för den som inte växt upp med det, och ibland är det svårt även för de som gjort det []

I am Dutch from origin. I have no problem at all in reading and speaking swedish. It feels more comfortable for me to write in english.

I have decided to buy the latest projector from LG. I have compared it with the HS-10 and came to the conclusion that the only pro Sony has over LG is its name.

Just like Black Rob i recommend the Avia disc. I think it´s the most popular calibrating disc...

I have the Avia disc and it's NTSC only. Still a very good disc though. Theres also Video Essentials and the upcoming Digital Video Essentials, which are meant to be very good too, these i haven't tried.
