Dolby satsar på 3D-film i jakten på biobesökarna

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. meddelar att man har ingått ett avtal med Infitec GmbH, en ledande leverantör av 'virtual reality' 3D-teknologier, för att utveckla ett nytt 3D-system speciellt anpassat för digitalbiografer.

Avtalet är en del i Dolby Laboratories engagemang att förbättra biobesökarnas upplevelse och Bill Jasper, VD för Dolby Laboratories, säger följande:

"For the past 30 years, directors, studios, and exhibitors have looked to Dolby to provide innovative technologies that will uphold the unique experience of going to the movies. By collaborating with Infitec GmbH, Dolby will enable exhibitors to provide audiences with stunning 3-D images from an easily integrated system that comes with Dolby's trusted reliability."
