Sony VPL-VW50 (Pearl) - Mer information samt omfattande test!

Det har kommit ytterligare lite information om Sony VPL-VW50 eller Pearl som den också kallas.

Vi går väl direkt på priset som i Japan landar på 735.000 Yen (rekommenderat) vilket motsvarar 45.000 kronor. I jämförelse med de tidigare Sonyprojektorerna och med hänsyn till vad denna projektor förväntas utföra så verkar det som ett rimligt pris och framtiden får utvisa vad priset i Sverige blir. En medlem anger det svenska introduktionspriset till 49.900 kronor och det verkar ganska passande med tanke på priset i Japan.

Förhoppningsvis behöver vi inte vänta alltför länge då släppdatum i Japan är satt till 20 oktober. En positiv överraskning är att lamppriset för VPL-VW50 ligger på motsvarande 2.600 kronor jämfört med motsvarande 6.400 kronor för VPL-VW100.

Avbuzz.com har nu lagt upp mängder med bilder från en kombinerad presskonferens demonstration i Hongkong där bl.a. projektorn Sony VPL-VW50 avhandlades. På bilderna ser man många nöjda ljud- och bildjournalister som också var målgruppen denna dag och intresset verkade mycket stort. Man har på de bilder som tidigare läckt ut inte sett en skymt på baksidan av projektorn och man kunde ju misstänka att det var för att man inte ville avslöja vilka anslutningsmöjligheter som gavs. Nu visar det sig att anslutningarna på baksidan lyser med sin frånvaro och i stället ser man denna strömlinjeformade design.

Till slut så dök dock en bild på anslutningarna upp och där kan man åtminstone se följande:

HDMI x2, HD-D-sub 15 x1, S-video x1, Kompositvideo x1, Komponentvideo x1 samt en trigger/minijack och en Remote/RS-232C: D-sub 9.

Its exceptionally high dynamic contrast ratio of up to 15,000:1 is a direct result of the synergy between the SXRD™ panel (which has a native 5,000:1 contrast ratio), and the Advanced Iris.

VPL-VW50 is equipped with a new 200-watt bulb to provide up to 900 lumens which is comparable with the VPL-VW100 (Ruby).

VPL-VW50 development of a new "High performing two" control algorithms to enhance contrast gradient, the "High performing two" control algorithms to adjust the aperture manually set, users may be based on the pictures and sources for the rate to adjust aperture openings rate, enjoy the highest operating flexibility.
