Pioneer förmedlar blu-ray-lägrets syn på formatkriget med HD DVD

I den tidigare nyheten, Blu-ray mot HD-DVD så gick ju HD-DVD ut som segrare i den första riktiga matchen mellan formaten. Samsung BD-P1000 som användes för blu-ray-filmerna har dock ett känt problem när det gäller hantering av video via HDMI-porten vilket testarna också påpekade och som teoretiskt skulle kunna vara en tänkbar (och även trolig) förklaring till att det gick som det gick. Samsung har meddelat att uppdateringar är på gång för att korrigera detta. Mer information om detta problem hittar ni HÄR.

Consumer Electronics Net har nu publicerat hela intervjun med Andy Parsons,  "Senior Vice President of Product Development for Pioneer USA and the Chair of the Blu-ray Disc Association's US Promotion Committee", där han bland mycket annat ger sin syn på formatkriget mellan blu-ray och HD-DVD.
