Produkten har funnits ute på marknaden i lite mer än ett år men är fortfarande högaktuell för de som endast är intresserade av kunna spela upp cd-skivor och eventuellt lyssna lite på radio. Perfekt i ett vardagsrum som inte används till hemmabio alltså.
Arcam Solo
Den amerikanska siten Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity har testat Arcam Solo och gillar den skarpt, detaljerat och välbalanserat ljud och med sina 2 x 50 Watt är den kanske inget kärnkraftverk, men enligt recensenten så klarar den ändå av "tunga" musikstycken utan större problem.

"One could assemble a fairly simple system with a CD player, two-channel integrated amp, andinterconnects for a total price that's similar to the Solo, particularly with manufacturers that sell products direct to consumers through the Internet. That said, I'm not sure that the "sum of the parts" approach is quite the same as a single elegantly designed, easy-to-use device that just plain sounds good. So if you're looking for a simple, yet highly effective approach to two-channel audio, the Solo may be just for you."
