The SolidPix is the first “non-acoustically screen from Screen Research”. This new fabric made by Screen Research is complementing the existing fabric range (ClearPix1 & ClearPix2) and enlarges the product offer to customers interested in high-end quality screen and Screen Research services performance.

NANTES, France, November 9th 2006 – Screen Research, recognized for its high end quality projection screens, announces its new product range: SolidPix.

SolidPix has been designed to offer a high end quality screen that offers a new solution when the positioning of the speakers behind the screen is not convenient.
As all the screen fabrics from Screen Research, this product has been designed to be the “state of art” of the solid screens available in the market.
The research and development of the screen surface has been conducted to reach the high standards of video quality required by the “Imaging Science Foundation”.

As Yves Trélohan, Founder and CEO of Screen Research company, stated: “Like all the Screen Research fabrics, SolidPix is a neutral surface, Matte White, with a gain of 1.0, in order to get the more “cinema like” picture, and an excellent out of axis performance in gain and to in color balance (minimum color shift).
The product will be available in all screens versions of the Screen Research products line, except Le Wing of course, for a maximum versatility to any customer situation. This new range is a new step in our strategy to offer one of the most exciting ranges of projection screens for the “no-compromise” home theater application”.

- XMask and CMask masking systems for fixed screens
