Hi Shane!

Yes, I can really recommend the XBOX 360 console. Great graphic and really good games also. A few of my personal favorite games are Halo3, Lost Planet, Colin McRae-Dirt and Gears of Wars.

The only bad thing about the XBOX 360 is that it makes alot of noice. The coolingfan sounds like a hair-dryer. I have placed my console behind the projector-screen, that keeps the noice away a little bit. But the easiest thing to do is to turn up the volume on the souns-sytem

Hello Shane!

My girlfriend has a PS2 SLIM and it doesn't make alot of noice.
A cheaper PS3 sounds great! I've also been eying the PS3, but as you said it's to expensive.
I've read a test of CD-players in "HIFI & MUSIK"-magazine a few days ago. For some reason the PS3 console was in that test. They were really impressed of the CD-player and the sound. The CD-player in PS3 also supportes SACD, which makes me want it even more. I really hope that the cheaper PS3 still supports SACD and Blueray.
