Some Early Details of 'Knocked Up' HD DVD
Universal Studios Home Entertainment is expected to announce Knocked Up on home video release soon. Knocked Up will be released on the HD DVD/DVD Combo (day-and-date with the DVD release) and will be priced at $39.99 SRP. Bonus materials on the HD DVD/DVD Combo is expected include everything found on the upcoming International 2-disc DVD release.

'300' HD DVD to Include First Web-Enabled Transaction Opportunities
In another high-def first, Warner says it plans to utilize web-enabled features on its upcoming HD DVD edition of '300' to sell film-themed ringtones and cellphone wallpaper to the movie's next-gen fans.
As we've previously reported, Warner plans to release two separate-but-unequal next-gen editions of '300' on July 31st. While both the Blu-ray and the HD DVD editions will feature a wealth of supplements, the HD DVD will boast several exclusive interactive and web-enabled features, including the ability to re-edit and share versions of the film via a studio-hosted server.
Now comes word that another web-enabled feature on the '300' HD DVD will enable Warner to sell film-related merchandise via a disc for the first time.
The studio demo'd the new feature last week at the Home Media Expo in Las Vegas as part of a larger session focused on the studio's push into interactive features on high-def disc.
According to an account by Video Business, consumers will be able to use their HD DVD player remote to type in their cell phone number, which will then be sent instructions for how to access '300'-themed wallpaper and ringtones for $1.99 each.
Considering the fact that the purchase takes place on the phone (and not the disc itself), this one seems like a bit of a cheat to us, but it does represent another step forward for web-enabled interactivity via high-def disc.
The HD DVD camp appears to angling to make web-enabled features the next battlefront in the high-def format wars. Pointing out that Blu-ray players "don’t have the consistency in their machines to be able to handle this," Universal Studios VP Ken Graffeo announced plans late last week to begin including web-enabled features in all Universal HD DVD releases, beginning in late August with 'Heroes: Season One'.

Mycket skarp och ren bild i dem flesta scener, speciellt i regnscenerna som såg otroligt bra ut
Fans en del grain i filmen, men det ska vara så med flit.
Koreanernas skådespelare är som en hög mongoloider enligt mig, sorry men deras skådespelerier är ta mig fan retired.
Monstret var hyffsat välgjort, kunde varit bättre, men det gick att se på . Jag vet att jag upprepar mig nu, men monstret var nog den största mongoloiden utav dem alla ..

har den i samlingen och har sett hela och tyckte kvallen var en solid 4:a om man jämför andra äldre filmer på HDDVD, ljudmässigt helt Ok också, men bilden var ett klart lyft från DVD..

har den i samlingen och har sett hela och tyckte kvallen var en solid 4:a om man jämför andra äldre filmer på HDDVD, ljudmässigt helt Ok också, men bilden var ett klart lyft från DVD..

Kollade lite på The Island igår och det är jäkla tryck i färgerna, rent och fint. Kontrasten är dock hög men så var den filmad så inget fel med det. Synd bara att DD (640kb/s) ljudet inte är bättre än ett normalt DTS-spår (768kb/s)
CDon verkar inte ha kvar den i lager heller då den nu bara går att boka så deras lager räckte i ungefär en dag.

For those who don't remember, The Whole Bloody Affair was meant to be both Kill Bill films put together with some additional/alternate footage including The Bride slicing through the House of Blue Leaves in full color (as it was released overseas).

Fick min Army of Darkness (reissue) i dag. Den var helt ok. En del synlig smuts på filmen här och där och lite grynigt när det är mörkt. Men jag antar att ursprungsmaterialet aldrig var i världsklass, så jag är nöjd. Den ligger på en SingleLayer (15GB) och har INGA som helst extras.

Kubrick Films Coming to HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc
Stanley Kubrick fans, today is your day. Warner Home Video has announced '2001: A Space Odyssey (Special Edition),' 'A Clockwork Orange (Special Edition),' 'Eyes Wide Shut (Special Edition),' 'Full Metal Jacket (Deluxe Edition)' and 'The Shining (Special Edition)' will be available individually on HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc on October 23 for an SRP of $28.99.
Better yet, it appears both versions of all the films will include Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio, and the Blu-ray versions will be pressed on BD-50 discs. Thank you, Warner!
We're still waiting to receive full disc specs and high resolution cover art, and will update each disc's detail page as soon as we have them.

Warner Home Video has announced '2001: A Space Odyssey (Special Edition),' 'A Clockwork Orange (Special Edition),' 'Eyes Wide Shut (Special Edition),' 'Full Metal Jacket (Deluxe Edition)' and 'The Shining (Special Edition)' will be available individually on HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc on October 23 for an SRP of $28.99.
Better yet, it appears both versions of all the films will include Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio, and the Blu-ray versions will be pressed on BD-50 discs. Thank you, Warner!
We're still waiting to receive full disc specs and high resolution cover art, and will update each disc's detail page as soon as we have them.
