Djungelmeister>> Helt klart ett tilltalande förslag, men jag har handlat många filmer på kort tid nu och vill inte gärna att regeringen sätter inköpsstopp! Speciellt inte med tanke på många fina releaser senare i år!

Shawshank Redemption, T3, and Twister Announced
Warner Home Video has added three films to their release slate, all set to come to Blu-ray later this year. 'The Shawshank Redemption', rated one of the best movies of all time, 'Terminator 3', and 'Twister' have all been put on the release schedule. 'The Shawshank Redemption' will be released on a BD-50. No other specs or dates have been announced at this time. Also of note, Warner will be releasing a 'The Best of Blu-ray: Action' set which consists of 'Alexander Revisited: (Unrated) Final Cut', 'Blood Diamond', 'Troy Director's Cut (Unrated)' and 'Wyatt Earp' and a 'The Best of Blu-ray: Family' set which consists of 'The Ant Bully', 'Happy Feet', 'Scooby Doo: The Movie', and 'Tim Burton's: The Corpse Bride' on the same day. Specs will be the same as the individual releases. And while this is most likely an error, Warner also lists 'A Little Princess' coming September 25th. The 1995 version directed by Alfonso Cuarón is listed coming on a BD-50 with Dolby Digital surround. On the off-chance this is correct, you've heard it here first! ------------------------------ Aviator Dated for Blu-ray Warner Home Video has announced that the Oscar award-winning biopic 'The Aviator' will be released for Blu-ray on November 6th. Video will be encoded using VC-1 at 2.35:1 1080p accompanied by a Dolby Digital surround track. Extras include audio commentary with director Martin Scorsese, a History Channel documentary about Howard Hughes, and deleted scenes. Hairspray being released on Blu-ray, HD DVD
SEPT. 11 | New Line Home Entertainment will set holiday style Nov. 20, when it releases Hairspray in three standard DVD versions and on Blu-ray Disc, the studio’s first high-definition release. The studio also will release the musical on HD DVD, but at a later date. On DVD, the $107 million grossing box-office hit will be available as a single-disc priced at $28.98, in a two-disc “Shake and Shimmy” edition priced at $34.99 and in a gift set priced at $59.76. The Blu-ray and upcoming HD DVD will be $34.99. All prebook Oct. 16. The “Shake and Shimmy” edition and the high-def versions are fully decked-out with extras, among them behind-the-scenes bonus features including a new musical number (“I Can Wait”), a “You Can’t Stop the Beat” documentary, a “Hairspray Extensions” featurette offering dance breakdowns, audio commentaries and deleted scenes. Fox Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region B Blu-ray Disc release of Die Hard 4.0 on 29th October 2007 priced at £24.99 RRP. Bruce Willis returns as wise-cracking super-cop Detective John McClane in the fourth instalment of the Die Hard series which is helmed by director Len Wiseman (Underworld). Justin Long, Timothy Olyphant, Cliff Curtis, Maggie Q and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also star. Jag läste någonstans på nätet att tredje Pirates of the Caribbean kanske kommer att bestyckas med 7.1 PCM ljud. Om det sedan gäller den utgåva som släpps i våra ankvatten kan man bara hoppas på.

AC/DC to Rock Blu-ray with 'Live at Donington'
 Get your earplugs ready: AC/DC is coming to high-def with Sony BMG's October Blu-ray release of the seminal concert epic 'Live at Domington.' Filmed at the famed Donington Castle by Grammy-winning music video helmer David Mallet, 'AC/DC: Live at Donington' has been hailed by some as the most over-the-top rock spectacle ever staged, including no less than firing cannons, a giant inflatable "hells bells" floating above the stage and a 18-strong setlist chock full of the legendary headbanger's greatest hits. Filmed in 35mm Panavision with 26 cameras, 'Live at Donington' will be presented in 1080p video (codec TBA), with audio specs and supplemental specs yet to be announced (though we can only hope that one of the high-resolution audio formats will be a given) We'll keep you posted. 'Memoirs of a Geisha' Blu-ray to Feature First-Ever "Disc Index" Function
 It may not be the sexiest of next-gen features, but Sony is quietly introducing a new navigational function with its upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Memoirs of a Geisha.' Simply dubbed "Disc Navigation Index," the new feature looks much like the trailing index of book, in this case listing the various topics covered by 'Geisha's lengthy supplements package. Clicking on a item of interest immediately takes you to a series of clips from the supplements directly related to that subject. Introducing this new feature with no fanfare at all (it wasn't even mentioned in the disc's press materials), Sony appears to simply be testing the waters, much as it did with its "Blu-Wizard" feature on last year's release of 'Black Hawk Down.' We contacted the studio for comment, and while they confirmed the feature's debut with 'Geisha,' they said no other Sony Blu-ray releases are currently slated to include the feature. Due in stores September 25th, other more traditional extras on the 'Memoirs of a Geisha' Blu-ray release include a pair of audio commentaries with the filmmakers, eleven making-of featurettes and two photo galleries.
