Fy fan vad bra! Helt omöjligt att vänta över ett år på detta. Har börjat spela Gears 2 igen och TU6 har faktiskt fixat lagg-problemet till stor del. Älskar Gears of War!

Always a pleasure, we had a rather long chat with Gears of War 3's Cliff Blezsinski to discuss the next game and the lessons he and his dev team learnt from Gears of War 2.

When you were talking about multiplayer you mentioned research, stats, etc. You said that Capture The Leader and King of the Hill, weren't as popular. How does that info help you?

Oh yeah. We pay attention to all those numbers behind the scenes. We know what's played, how many hours, which weapons are used. In the new game we also have the ability to create heat-mapping, so we know which weapons get used the most and who gets killed. We know every little bit. Previously in other games, we just do guesswork. Like "I think this is popular? It looks like there's a lot people playing?" Now we're being surgical about it. Picture guys with clipboards and labcoats like [adopts serious voice] "the empirical data suggests this gametype is not played due to this one thing." We at Epic learn by our mistakes. We've had some hits, we've had some misses. We're figuring it out.

om gears 2 var snyggt men såg pianolackat ut så är gears 3 snyggt men ser ut att vara gjort i lera.
kan ju ha att göra med att man kommer från crysis 2 nu.

men jag har inte spelat gears 2 sen ca 2 år sen och jag märker verkliggen ingen skillnad (finns säkert massa)
jag har kul men det både ser och spelar identisk som jag minns.
och det är faktiskt inte jätte snyggt

vill någon testa betan så är det faktiskt inte mkt svårare än att ha en partion på en usb stick med ett inlagt crack på( Modd får ta bort detta om det bryter mot reglerna)

gör en partion på usb på ca 1-2gb.
lägg in ett theme på den.
ladda hem dom två rar filerna via nån mirror.
starta programet i den ena och dra in hela mappen från den andra.
och ladda ner gears 3 via demos o trails i boxen.

Team Deathmatch var ju sjult tråkigt! Små banor med en "arena" i mitten och att man kan gå på sidorna. Mest fantasilösa jag stött på någonsin. Skall testa king of the hill lite senare ikväll.
